Gold River Camp - Cabins and Camping
Gold River is a former gold and gem panning operation turned riverfront camping and cabins along the Second Broad River. Part of the US’ first gold rush in the 1850s, this region was once bustling with thousands of miners. There can still be gold found in this very river today. We welcome you to try your hand at old-fashioned gold panning.
Gold River meets an array of camping and “glamping” desires, offering 6 tiny cabins that use a bath house, 3 full service cabins, 4 canvas glamping tents, one RV spot, and 3 primitive riverfront tent spaces.
We are a campground with a communal vision in mind, featuring community fire pits, four grills, an open-air pavilion with high-top seating overlooking the river, a picnic area, horseshoes, hammocks and several gathering porches.
Pets allowed in certain cabins. We hope your stay will be golden!
