Fueled by research insights, Visit NC’s multi-channel paid, owned, and earned media recovery efforts are unified with an initial campaign tagline of “Our best way to get back is for you to come back.” Then in the summer of 2025, due to improving visitor sentiment, the tagline evolved to "Rediscover the Unforgettable.” Top markets of origin for the mountain region have been prioritized in collaboration with Western NC partners and include NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, AL, NY and DC.
