August 13, 2026 — Visit NC Quarterly Update + Marketing Xpress Session: Algorithmic Media
For August, Visit NC will give a quick quarterly update and will then move into a marketing Xpress session (similar to those held at Visit NC Tourism Conference) that will focus on better understanding the evolution of algorithmic media.
As today's social media and digital platforms are evolving from traditional marketing channels into entertainment-driven, algorithmic media ecosystems — thus changing how content is discovered, prioritized and measured — destination marketers must adapt their strategies to better stand-out. This portion of the webinar will cover what this shift means for partners and include practical recommendations for core platforms like Meta and TikTok while looking ahead to emerging areas of opportunities across channels like Pinterest and YouTube.
