Linney’s Water Mill in Union Grove is a historic, water-powered gristmill that has operated for generations in Iredell County. Widely regarded as one of the last remaining working water-powered mills in the state, it offers visitors a glimpse into traditional milling methods and rural agricultural heritage.
Set along a small stream with a classic mill structure and waterwheel, the site combines historic character with a working mill and retail shop. Visitors can purchase freshly ground grits, cornmeal, and other products made on site, making it both a scenic and culturally significant stop in the region.
