Located on the water about a mile from downtown Edenton, the oyster bar offers indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the bay. Start with the creative oyster lineup, from traditional raw or steamed to Southern-style, fried with creamed collards, or grilled-cheese style with pimento cheese and country ham.
Those familiar with North Carolina fish houses will recognize the fried seafood platters of shrimp or flounder served with fries, slaw and hushpuppies. Other specialties include crab cakes, fish tacos and seafood chowder. The menu changes with the seasons and depends upon the availability of what’s coming off the boats, so the food is as fresh as possible.
