One person’s idea of opening a small eating establishment became reality on September 1, 1971. BBQ King has been a landmark for forty-five years. Initially seating only 25 people to now seating 150 happy customers. The work team prides themselves on serving fresh, pit smoked barbecue, hand patted burgers and hand breaded onion rings. On average we smoke and hand chop 25 pork shoulders, patty 180 pounds of hamburger and ring 200 pounds of onions daily. Our BBQ joint is all counter service with a large dining room for eat-in patrons. The unique order placement is second to none, leaving customers mesmerized by the girls hollering orders to the cooks and shortly handing over a fresh, hot plate of food.
