Skull Camp Brewing & Smokehouse
Beer lovers searching for their next favorite craft beer can rejoice at this local microbrewery hiding in the north end of Elkin. The owners of Skull Camp Brewery also own Round Peak Vineyards in Mt Airy, but decided to open their brewery and smokehouse restaurant in this previously famous Basin Creek Restaurant location. Renovated into two stories with a covered back and side patio, upper-level wine tasting room, and event space, they offer live music outside in warmer months. Besides providing great wine and beer for the Yadkin Valley area, its menu is filled with unique options of smoked meat specialties including ribs and bison, and features delicious peel & eat shrimp. Along with their own brew, they also offer a huge tap wall with a wide variety of craft beers and ciders, or you can try a tasty flight! Check out their Facebook page to see scheduled event listings and hours.
