15th Annual Battleship Half Marathon & 5K

The 15th Annual Battleship Half Marathon & 5K is one of the best half marathon courses in the eastern United States. You’ll run over two bridges, along Water Street in downtown Wilmington and around beautiful Greenfield Lake. Next you’ll cross the Memorial Bridge at the 12-mile mark which is the highest point on the course with a beautiful view of downtown and the Battleship. Then you’ll dash to the finish in front of the “Immortal Showboat.” The post race party and awards ceremony takes place in Battleship Park overlooking the Cape Fear River with music, pizza, free beer and exhibits and vendors. It’s a race, party, and destination you’ll always remember.
