Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival

The Ham & Yam Festival has grown into a celebration of the agricultural products that Smithfield and Johnston County are known for - teaming with ham biscuits, barbeque pork sandwiches, sweet potatoes foods, and more. There will be arts, vendors, kid’s activities, live entertainment, and the popular “What’s That Yam Thing?” art contest. This family-friendly event keeps crowds entertained with live performances, children’s games, and inflatables. Enjoy headliners Tuesday’s Gone, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, on the new Neuse River Amphitheater Stage from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
