Who is the King of the Q? Find out at the 2024 Kings of Q BBQ Cookoff in Downtown Ayden. The 2024 event will feature the first-ever Kings of Q BBQ Cook-Off double cookoff, including the Kansas City Barbecue Society Sanctioned Competition and Ayden's First Hometown Throwdown Whole Hog Cook-Off! Find all the BBQ you could dream of at this event, as well as a beer garden, artisan market, and more. Make sure to stay 'til the end of the night for a community street dance!

Did you know? Kings of Q is named in honor of the two local "Kings of Q" , the late Latham "Bum" Dennis and Pete Jones, the founders of Bums Restaurant and Skylight Inn BBQ, both located in Ayden.
