This popular 761-acre park includes a visitors center and marina/fuel dock accessing some of North Carolina's best fishing spots, and features miles of hiking trails Conveniently located near the Park's entrance, the Visitor Center/Exhibit Hall, are wheelchair accessible with exhibits and videos. Rangers hold regularly scheduled educational programs.

Secluded campsites are available beneath towering trees with the option of tent adventures. Cabins sleep up to six people and are outfitted with double beds, bunk beds, heating/air conditioning, electrical outlets and more.
