Ride the Wind Surf Shop is your all-inclusive outdoor adventure outfitter for Ocracoke. Visitors are able to explore Ocracoke’s wildlife and nature through ecotours, rentals and classes. A short distance offshore from Ocracoke in the Pamlico Sound is a natural reef which protects the shallow waters along the shoreline, a perfect place to explore by kayak. These shallow waters and marshes are filled with wildlife- shorebirds, migratory birds, fish, crustacea, plants and sometimes sea otters and sea turtles. Sunrise, sunset, full moon, bird watching and custom tours are available. In addition, surf lessons, SUP, and yoga on paddle boards are all offered. No experience needed. The surf shop carries the latest in swimsuits, bikinis, men’s and women’s surfwear, sundresses, apparel, jewelry, sunglasses, watersports equipment and more.
