Linney’s Mill is a family-owned business with one of the few fully operational and producing mills in existence in North Carolina. Visitors can watch as the mill works, producing corn meal with water-wheel powered grinding stones that have been in use for about 65 years. W.L. Linney, built a dam and installed the waterwheel on Rocky Creek, north of Statesville, in 1937. Products can be purchased in the General Store onsite.
