Veterans, their families, and everyone else, are invited to enjoy a glimpse of history as you walk through the Living Military Museum. You will find Richard’s Coffee Shop in the same building, where you can sit, relax and share your personal stories. Richard’s Coffee Shop honors a loyal veteran, Richard Warren, that organized fellow military people to preserve memories and to support fellow veterans. The museum was honored in 2013 with a piece from 9/11. The “Living” segment in our name consists of all of the veterans who gather on a daily basis to share their memories and stories with each other and the community, through our outreach and school programs, and with anyone who values our heritage.
Free coffee to veterans every Thursday. Saturday morning is music day, when musicians, professional and veterans alike, gather to play country, bluegrass and traditional music.
