At the north end of Carolina Beach, visitors have long enjoyed the beach area now known as Freeman Park. Whether coming to the area to fish, swim, go boating, crabbing or casting for minnows, people love Freeman Park. Approximately one mile north on Canal Drive. Camping and 4-wheel drive access allowed with proper permits.

Restrictions/codes enforced. Seasonal, seven-day and daily passes are available and can be purchased online by visiting the online reservation system. Please note: if you are planning an overnight camping trip to Freeman Park, please check availability first on the online reservation website to verify that spots are available and to stay up to date on rules and regulations.
