Ever heard of a barn quilt? In Rowan County they're a symbol of unity and pride for our original community. You'll find them in lots of places - on barns, fences and everywhere in between! In fact, we have been nationally recognized for our custom, record-setting barn quilt mural. It's the largest in the United States and is located on the side of the Cleveland Community Volunteer Fire Department. The "Always Original Barn Quilt Mural" honors and memorializes the men and women of service within the West Rowan community.
