Jomeokee Campground
Located in the shadow of Pilot Mountain, just off US Hwy 52 in Pinnacle, Jomeokee Park Camping and Ampitheatre is a “hidden gem.” RV and pop-up camping sites available with electric and water or no hook-up. Tent sites are also available.
Jomeokee (which means "Pilot" in the language of the Saura Indians, early inhabitants of the area) has a rich heritage as a music venue with its amphitheater, as well as park and campground. This dates back to the mid 1970s when bluegrass legend Lester Flat purchased the property and held festivals here each summer. In the 1980s, the site was home to radio station WTQR’s Family Reunion, featuring top country music acts. The park has access to a variety of outdoor activities, including: hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, zipline tours, fishing, bird watching, horseback riding and much more.
