Beaufort Pirate Invasion 2024

On Friday, the event kicks off at 12:00 noon with vendors in downtown, Middle Lane, and the Beaufort Historic Site. At 5:00 pm, a cannon salute and parlay at Eury Park (5 doubloons per pirate, kids free) mark the official start. Simultaneously, the Crystal Coast Lady hosts a pirate ball dinner cruise. Vendors close at 8:00 pm.

Saturday starts at 9:00 am with vendors. At 10:00 am, a cannon salute signals the opening, followed by a pre-invasion drama at 10:30 am in Eury Park. Spanish pirates invade at 11:00 am, capture officials by 11:15 am, and by noon, the militia parades captured pirates to the Beaufort Historic Site. A pirate ball dinner cruise takes place at 5:00 pm.

On Sunday, vendors open at 10:00 am, and then there's a pirate attack on the Beaufort Hotel. At 11:00 , and again at 3:00, the Battle of Ocracoke, or Blackbeard’s Last Stand, unfolds. Events conclude at 4:00 pm.
