Ironman 70.3 North Carolina

The Ironman 70.3 North Carolina triathlon features plenty of viewing points for their 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run. This "point-to-point-to-point-to-point" event begins in Wrightsville Beach and takes athletes along the same fast channel swim. The bike course runs through the coastal countryside outside Wilmington, and the run goes around Greenfield Lake before you can cheer on the athletes as they finish in historic downtown Wilmington. The 2025 Ironman 70.3 North Carolina event offers qualifying slots to the 2026 Ironman 70.3 World Championship. Come to cheer on the racers and then enjoy all the family friendly Fall arts and entertainment offered by Wilmington and its Island Beaches.
