August 13, 2026 – Visit NC Update and Marketing Xpress Session: Algorithmic Media
For August, Visit NC provided a quick quarterly update and will then moved into a marketing Xpress that focused on better understanding the evolution of algorithmic media. The session looked at how social media and digital platforms are evolving from traditional marketing channels into entertainment-driven, algorithmic media ecosystems — thus changing how content is discovered, prioritized and measured. This portion of the webinar covered what this shift means for partners and included practical recommendations for core platforms like Meta and TikTok while looking ahead to emerging areas of opportunities across channels like Pinterest and YouTube.
