Growing from an abandoned school building just a few short years ago to the vibrant center of the community today, Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center now offers more than 20 programs to approximately 10,000 people annually. The Center brings music to the mountains through the summer performing arts series An Appalachian Evening, as well as the Annual Harvest Festival and other events. Additionally, the Stecoah Artisans Gallery provides sales promotion and support for local and regional artists. So stop by the Artisans Gallery, featuring a wide variety of original works by local artisans to purchase that special, one-of-a-kind gift. The Center is dedicated to preserving mountain traditions for generations to come.

The Center is housed in a renovated schoolhouse in the tiny village of Stecoah, North Carolina in the scenic Western North Carolina mountains. Stecoah is about a half-hour west of Bryson City via US-74 West and NC-28 North – roughly midway between Bryson City and Fontana Dam. We're also about 15 minutes north of Robbinsville via NC-143 and NC-28 South.
