Restored 1919 Herchell-Spillman carousel with hand-carved wooden animals and menagerie figures plus inside row paintings. Miniature train ride (c. 1952, restored). City Park is comprised of 150 acres of beautifully kept ball fields, playground, picnic areas, aquatics center, nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, outdoor volleyball and croquet court, horse shoes, and a sitting garden. There is also a community center with 1,500-seat gymnasium with stage, gymnastics room, aerobics room and conference rooms. In addition, City Park is home to the Historic Herchell Spillman Carrousel and Gift Shop and restored Rotary Miniature Train.

Thousands of visitors take advantage of the different venues and programs offered at City Park. Train is closed for the winter except during special holiday hours.
