This museum tells the story of the segregated Marine Corp in the early days of WWII. It tells the history of black American heroes that fought not only the war, but the bigotry of the South, both for the opportunity to stand up and fight for their country, and the respect of doing the same job as their white counterparts. The museum has a 90 millimeter M1A1 anti-aircraft weapon system, which was the primary weapon the Montford Point Marines used to train with and it has been returned to its rightful resting place.

A valid military identification card or a temporary base pass is required to enter Camp Johnson. This pass must be picked up at the main gate of Camp Lejeune. Call (850) 499-6727 for additional guidance.
