Western North Carolina’s best kept secret, we have more than 20 miles of trails, experienced guides and gentle horses in a beautiful, relaxing environment. You must see our fabulous 360 degree views of the Cherokee and Pisgah National Forest from the top of Big Bald Mountain at more than 5500' elevation! Our stables and horseback riding trails are located in The Preserve at Wolf Laurel, a private, gated mountain top community that adjoins Wolf Laurel Resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Wolf Laurel Stables is open to the public and rides can be scheduled 7 days a week.
Enjoy a cool ride a one-hour wagon ride to Weaver knob to see the views and enjoy our new picnic pavilion. A wonderful way to experience this beautiful area, with a hand-made wagon and an impressive team of Haflingers.
