The historic Grand Old Lady Hotel (formerly Balsam Mountain Inn) was opened in 1908 to serve the highest railroad station in the eastern United States. Located a quarter-mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway and 25 minutes south of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, our inn welcomes guests with 50 cheery rooms, rocker-filled porches, a warm library and gracious dining.
