The Town of Cornelius constructed a veterans monument on the grounds of the Cornelius Town Hall to pay tribute and remember those who have served this country. The monument includes the names of over 1,100 names of veterans, living or deceased, who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, received honorable discharges, and lived in Cornelius at some point in their lives.
