Stop and stretch your legs at the Benson Singing Grove Park, which is located in the heart of Benson's Main Street and shopping district. The "grove" is home to the annual Benson Mule Days held in September and the oldest festival in North Carolina, Benson State Singing Convention held in June each year. The park offers a stage, benches, shade trees, picnic shelter for 80-100 people with grills and a playground for children ages 2-12. The facility is available to rent for parties and family reunions through the Benson Parks & Recreation office.

In Johnston County from I-95, Exit 79,and from I-40, Exit 325.
