Governor Roy Cooper has issued an
that moves the entire state of North Carolina into a Safer at Home Phase 2
effective Friday, May 22, through Friday, June 26, at the earliest.
If traveling, individuals are encouraged to check with local governments
to determine whether additional restrictions are still in place
(e.g. beach access, short-term rentals and hotels, visitor centers),
and to contact lodging establishments directly for their most
up-to-date information. Current destinations with various restrictions
in place can be found here. Please use your best judgment if traveling,
and practice good hygiene while avoiding close contact with others.
