Originally built as a home for elderly women in 1903, the King's Daughters Inn was renovated into a 17-room boutique bed and breakfast in 2009. It is across the street from Duke University's East Campus and walking distance from the Ninth Street District and Brightleaf Square.

The inn offers complimentary concierge service and bicycles, spacious common areas and meeting space, gourmet breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening wine and scotch. Every room includes robes, an HDTV, private baths, and locally produced, all-natural bath amenities.
