Twelve West Main was built in 1916 and is located approximately where the house of John Thomas, the founder of Thomasville, once stood. In the past, the first floor housed Jones/Efird's Dept. Stores and once hosted WMFR's radio broadcast from the mezzanine. Historical sites such as the Big Chair, the Bell Tower Fountain, the Depot and the town gazebo are all within view and add charm to the Twelve West Main experience. Buildings are illuminated at night.
This beautifully restored building is now available for weddings, receptions, proms, reunions, and other banquets involving up to 500 people.
