Dan Finch Pottery Home for the Bluebirds

Award-winning potter Dan Finch has made Bailey his home. His work has been featured in the Charlotte Mint Museum, the NC Museum of Handicrafts in Waynesville, NC, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans. There’s a gallery where you can browse his latest works of stoneware, porcelain, wood-fired, salt-glazed, and Raku pottery. There's a studio where you can try your hand at making your own masterpiece, or see the enormous kilns that are used for firing pottery. You can even step outside to find hand-crafted bluebird homes, and during the right time of year, you can walk over to the nursery and take home a gallon or three of blueberries.
