Cedar Creek Stables

Cedar Creek Stables is a public horseback riding facility with trail rides available across a 350 acre property. With guided trail rides ranging from 1 - 2 hours in length, you will enjoy creek walks and beautifully wooded mountain views on our private trails nestled in the mountains of Lake Lure. You might see such wildlife as deer and turkey. Pony rides are available to riders under the age of 8.

Visit Cedar Creek gem mine (open seasonally) and search for sapphires, aquamarine, amethysts, garnets, emeralds, citron, quarts and rubies. Fishing is available along the shores of our mountain lake stocked with bass and catfish.
