One of America's most visited national parks offers a variety of camping such backcountry, frontcountry, group camping, and horse camps.
There are 10 developed campgrounds throughout the park. Each campground has restrooms with cold running water and flush toilets. The park has 7 areas where groups may camp. These can accommodate tent sites. Five drive-in horse camps provide ready access to backcountry trails within the park.
There are no showers or electric, water or sewer hook-ups in the park. Please check the website for specific campground and facilities information. (Map pins for this listing denote only Smokemont and Cataloochee Campgrounds, not the horse or group campgrounds.)
