Bring the family and celebrate fall at Bentonville Battlefield! See demonstrations of historic trades and activities. Also, don't miss wagon rides, old timey kids games, crafts and activities, community groups, and much more! Bring a blanket or chair and listen to live music. Food trucks will be on-site!
While at Bentonville tour the site of the last major battle of the Civil War, and the largest land battle fought in North Carolina! The visitor center offers displays and interprets many artifacts from the three-day battle. Plus, explore miles of hiking trails which wind through flat county-side and farm-land, some of which saw active fighting in 1865. History buffs can enjoy signage detailing the event as they walk and those just looking to hike can do so on beautiful and well-maintained trails.
