Make your plans now to attend Halifax County Harvest Days on Saturday, October 22. Festival goers enjoy the heritage farm equipment such as antique tractors, farm exhibits, and demonstrations like the sawmill, peanut threshing, and corn shucking. Music and entertainment featuring Nu-Blu, Rusty Hubcaps, and the Brake Tyme Band will be enjoyed throughout the day at the outdoor amphitheater. Homemade goodies, as well as traditional festival food, will be available throughout the day. Visit the Educational Exhibits area at the Rosenwald School and walk through the early 1900’s Farmhouse. The Halifax County Agricultural Museum allows hands-on cotton threshing and exhibits of farm equipment. So pack up the kids, turn off the phones and step back in time in Halifax County!
