Farmville has hosted the Farmville Dogwood Festival for the past 33 years each April on the town commons, dotted with stately oaks, azaleas, dogwoods and a burst of color from annuals and perennials!

Honored as a legacy festival by the Library of Congress, the festival provides a weekend of entertainment that appeals to patrons of all ages. Many visitors make an annual pilgrimage to reunite with family and friends, with an estimated attendance some years at over 30,000 coming to enjoy local and headlining music acts, carnival rides, food vendors, and more!

The focal point of the festival is the arts and crafts pavilion displaying the artistic talents and workmanship of the artisans of Eastern North Carolina, including woodworking, stained glass, pottery, jewelry, framed artwork, photography, soaps and many other handcrafted treasures for sale.
