A musical tribute in memory of Link Wray, founder of the Power Chord. 7 bands will take the stage. Headlining will be Nantucket, along with other featured artists, Tuesday's Gone, Fahrenheit, Hell Hound Trail, Phatlynx, Malamondos, and Link Wray's grandson's group, The Band of Tribes. Born in Dunn, NC on May 2, 1929, Wray a Native American descendant of the Shawnee, was named one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists by Rolling Stone magazine. His most famous song "Rumble" is in the National Recording Registry, housed in the Library of Congress. Nominated to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, he will be inducted into the NC Music Hall of Fame in October 2014. This event will pay homage to his many contributions to the rock and roll industry. Concessions will be for sale. Lawn chairs are allowed, however coolers are not.

Admission: $20 in advance $25 at door
