Take a step back into colonial times during this living history event. See what life was like during the beginning years of North Carolina through interaction with colonial exhibitors. Watch the blacksmith in action by the Tar River, learn how to cook as a colonist, spin wool, make a craft, play colonial games and so much more. Heirloom herbs and plants brought over on ships will be on display and discussed. There will also be a compelling debate between Thomas Jefferson played by William Barker, noted professional actor from Williamsburg, VA, and Monticello and Alexander Hamilton played by Wally Hurst, actor and professor of drama. Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair for viewing the debate and other demonstrations. Admission is free.

For more details on these and other colonial demonstrations and exhibits during the event, visit the About and Info & Schedule pages on the website.
