A month-long event held in downtown New Bern. Our downtown area is transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland with a number of exciting events planned to enhance your holiday experience. Throughout the month of December celebrate the season by taking a trolley ride to see the festive lights, go ice skating in Union Point Park, experience the holiday magic with the NC Symphony Holiday Pops concert or a local theatrical holiday show! Enjoy our traditional parade and flotilla , check out our live window displays and so much more! New Bern sparkles with the magic of Christmas! Enjoy extended shopping hours downtown till 8 pm on Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14 and 21.

Santa’s holiday home in Bear Plaza is typically open Thursday - Sunday during the Christmas season, allowing children to visit with Santa and have a photo. Dates and times subject to change.
