Annual Hobgood Cotton Festival

The Town of Hobgood celebrates the area's largest cash crop each year on the second Saturday in October with the Hobgood Cotton Festival. As always, our 21st annual event features a day of fun and festivities. Start your day with a stroll through the town and visit our historic depot and church or shop the treasures at the Hemp Store. Check out the arts and crafts vendors, eat lunch at The Grill or at one of the tempting food vendors on site, go on the cotton trailer ride, and enjoy games and activities for the kids. There will be live musical entertainment from Chandler James & Band and Rusty Hub Capps, as well as other local artists performing gospel, bluegrass, country, and rock and roll all during the day. Come celebrate the harvest at the Hobgood Cotton Festival!
