Island of Lights Festival

Carolina Beach decks the hulls and halls in this island-wide festival featuring a month of yuletide themed events. Island of Lights kicks off with the ceremonial lighting of the lake and follows with the traditional water parade of lights sporting a coastal twist at the Christmas Flotilla, featuring boats decorated in their holiday best cruising the waterways and competing for prizes. See holiday lights coastal style as Pleasure Island twinkles with special decorations including a special tour of homes in their Christmas finery. Celebrate New Year’s Eve on the beach with the New Year’s Eve Celebration, a family-friendly event featuring a DJ, dancing, refreshments and an epic beach ball drop.
