Sparked by an interest in the area's gold history, Marion has created an enthusiastic following of revelers celebrating New Year's Eve. Hosted by Marion's Rotary Club, event details will be posted and updated on Marion Rotary's Facebook page. Due to continually changing COVID-19 circumstances, be certain to check the Facebook page often.

This street party is family-friendly. In previous years, it has included a scavenger hunt, costume contest, and Resolution Run 5k. Music, food, and craft vendors have been scattered throughout The 310 District of downtown Marion. Restaurants, breweries, the meadery, and a music hall will be open featuring their own New Year's Eve specials. This year's activities will be shared on Facebook.

As midnight rings in the New Year, don't miss the descent of a special gold nugget, created by local metal artists at Turtle Laboratories. Again, COVID-19 has altered the celebration and this year Mr. Bob's HUGE Donut will not catch the gold nugget. Hopefully, it will return in 2022!
