Light Up Your Holidays Weekend

Cool your yule this December 1-2 in Brevard’s historic downtown, where old-fashioned Currier & Ives charm meets modern day holiday magic in North Carolina's Land of Waterfalls. “Light Up the Night,” on December 1, transforms downtown Brevard into a warm and wonderful holiday celebration with twinkling lights, illuminated decorations, and the lighting of the courthouse Christmas tree. It’s the perfect time to stroll down our decked-out streets, do a little shopping, enjoy live music, and sample the fare from a array of local food trucks. Then jingle all the way into Saturday, December 2, for the Annual Downtown Brevard Christmas Parade at 11 AM. Rock around the Christmas tree to marching bands, festive floats, and, of course, Parade VIP Santa himself. While in town, be sure to check out the holiday window competition showcasing festive and fun shop windows throughout the month of December.
