To commemorate the 300th anniversary of the notorious pirate Blackbeard's adventures along the North Carolina Coast, where he was eventually brought to justice and met his ultimate demise, the Blackbeard 300 Queen Anne’s Revenge exhibit is traveling the state showcasing many recovered artifacts from his wrecked flagship discovered off the coast of Beaufort. The exhibit is currently on display in the Janice Hardison Faulkner Gallery at East Carolina University’s Joyner Library.
