Delve into the magical world of Dr. Seuss’ classic book "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" during the Museum of the Albemarle's annual Holiday Open House. See characters from the book brought to life and have your photo taken at our Whoville Village with the Grinch himself. Search for historical characters drawn in Seussical style within our exhibit gallery. Each visitor will receive a 2021 keepsake bell. Youngsters can participate in hands-on Grinch-themed activities. Our Albemarle Express HO scale train will travel around our region for the last time, making stops at county landmarks in each of the thirteen counties our museum serves. There will be three showings of the Grinch movie. Carolina Carriages will be ready take you and your family on a memorable ride in a horse drawn carriage. Gifts and memorabilia may be purchased at the Museum Gift Shop.
Visit Who-Seumville for great photo ops! Santa will stop by to make sure he has your wish list.
