Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, this annual LGBTQ+ grassroots festival celebrates the history, diversity and future of the queer community in Western North Carolina. The event kicks off with its iconic Welcoming Procession through downtown and also features live performances, a street festival, 200 booths full of artists, vendors and local restaurants, and a variety of special events, including the newly formed Oral History Project with UNC-Asheville and self-guided tour of queer Asheville. Don’t miss the Generation Plus Senior Prom for “LGBTQ people enjoying life’s third act” and the signature Blue Ridge Pride Pageant. This is Western North Carolina's largest celebration of Pride, previously dubbed by CNN as one of the world's best places to celebrate Pride!
