North Carolina Rhododendron Festival

Celebrating the blooming of the largest natural rhododendron gardens on Roan Mountain, Bakersville rolls out the pink carpet for this summer festival. The NC Rhododendron Festival draws hundreds of visitors from across the region and features the Rhododendron Festival Pageant, the craft fair with food vendors, children's activities, and live music throughout the day, as well as a classic car show, arts & crafts, a 10K run, car show, ducky derby, street dances and a beauty pageant. Come help us celebrate the oldest festival in our county and our town turning pink!
