In conjunction with Southport's NC 4th of July Festival, the annual Oak Island Beach Day offers live entertainment, dozens of family contests, inflatables, rides and games.
On the beach in front of the cabana there will also be corn hole, bocce ball, sand castle, and volleyball contests. The fun continues with a shag contest at 6 p.m. and live music by Carl Newton Review from 6 - 9 p.m.
