Trade the trail for the track at the year-round Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, North Carolina's first alpine coaster. Stretching 3,160 feet through the mountains in Banner Elk, the route features three circle loops, rolling waves, and exciting twists and turns while putting you in control of the ride's speed as you take in the scenery. You can ride solo or pair a small child with an adult for the adventure. After your ride, keep the outing going on the aerial ropes course or refuel with a coffee and a savory meat pie from the on-site café.
