Operated by The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, the center provides information on attractions, events and directions. The center offers rest rooms, and a picnic area. Rest areas are open 365 days a year; welcome center is open 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mar - Dec. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
